Dr. Austin Pitcher is skilled in the treatment of all upper extremity orthopaedic conditions.  This includes common issues such as carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, rotator cuff tears.  He is also experienced in the care of more complex conditions including traumatic nerve and tendon injuries, and complex fracture care.  With the assistance of our fantastic hand therapists, we will craft an individualized treatment and recovery plan to get you back to the activities you enjoy most.

Local-only procedures

We offer the option to perform some procedures using local-anesthetic only.  This technique, sometimes referred to as Wide Awake Local Anesthesia No Tourniquet (WALANT), has several benefits.  Some of these benefits include no need for fasting on the day of surgery, fewer risks associated with anesthesia, and less downtime on the day of surgery.  Please ask about this option at our next appointment!
